Above you find a very early recording from the Dichterliebe by the Bass Robert Blass. It was made for Victor in 1903 and republished by the IRCC (International Record Collectors Club) in the forties (or fifties ?) Blass was a pupil of Julius Stockhausen, who performed the cycle for the first time!
